Tyler Buck has been a full-time coach since 2015 and currently coaches rugby players from grassroots upto the international level. He also coaches a number of powerlifters, runners, and health clients. Bucky has a deep passion for coaching and loves to see his clients succeed both on and off the field. One of the things that sets him apart is his ability to connect with his clients, with Bucky you don’t just get a program and off you go you get a coach who is fully invested in your journey.

As a lifelong athlete he’s learned through experience by playing a number of different sports such as rugby, basketball, soccer, jiu jitsu, long distance running, CrossFit, bobsledding and now powerlifting. He firmly believes in leading by example in order to be much more relatable to the athletes he coaches and by understanding the demands he places on them.

Bucky is deeply passionate about helping athletes develop their unique strengths, inspiring them to continue pursuing their goals in the face of adversity, and in creating the habits needed to become 1% better everyday. To continue learning and stay on top of the most effective ways to train and help his athletes progress Tyler is being mentored by two of the world’s top coaches, Dr. Nic Gill and Sebastian Oreb “The Australian Strength Coach”.

Tyler is a certified PT, with multiple training certifications, and a diploma in fashion marketing and management.

Outside of coaching he loves spending time with his family on Vancouver Island, powerlifting, collecting comics, a good coffee, and walking with his dogs in nature.
